Something is going wrong

I am obliged for M Coppin's contribution regarding the road drainage problems in our area and he/she could well be right, but what also occurred to me is that the problem could be defective original construction or lack of the drain maintenance, in addition to not clearing blocked drains when necessary.

I am aware of drains in the Battle area where the water comes out for almost the whole year, which frankly is unacceptable baring in mind this is not the norm in most other areas.

East Sussex County Council are paid to provide an effective drainage system, it is their duty to do so but something is going wrong somewhere.
