Sorry to see hammer fall on auction house
I was really sorry to read that the auction house in Rye has closed.
It does seem a shame when you think how long we’ve had an auction house. I’ve enjoyed meeting so many friends there since 1945 when I used to visit with my family.
I do hope we will see another auction house in Rye.
