Squire’s donates seeds to Washington school
On Monday 13th April, Chris Dartnell, Centre Manager from Squire’s Washington paid a visit to St Mary’s First School in Washington to launch a Grow Your Own Sunflower competition amongst a group of budding little gardeners.
Squire’s donated packs of sunflower seeds to the school and Chris led a mini tuition session to educate the children on how to plant and provide the best care for their sunflowers.
At the end of July the height of each sunflower will be measured, and Squire’s Garden Centre will give a prize to the little owner of the tallest plant.
