ST CATHERINE'S: I'm disgusted '“ Mr Lenkiewicz is inspirational and passionate

I am very disappointed and disgusted by the way a select few parents who have children attending St Catherine's have behaved at the news of Mr Lenkiewicz's return to his post as headmaster.

I took my son out of private education to send him to St Catherine's School because of the good reputation it had.

Mr Lenkiewicz has been in post for many, many years.

His contribution to the school has been enormous and he is one of the most inspirational and passionate teachers I have had the privilege to meet.

The children respected him, as do many other parents.

I believe it was the governors who failed the school and Mr Lenkiewicz has been used as a scapegoat.

I cannot begin to imagine what he has been going through all these months.

His whole career hangs in the balance because of a select few parents.

I am very concerned over the lack of improvement in the school's educational programme since Mr Lenkiewicz went on long term sick leave, and now that his return has been blocked I seriously believe my son's education is really going to be compromised if he remains at the school.
