Sting in the tail
THE letter from Councillor Sue Prochak in last week's Observer was misleading, as usual. It started with a compliment and then came a sting in the tail.
To suggest that it is only the Conservative group that has a “whip” is just not true. All the political groups including Labour (who will now write in to deny that this happens) are either naïve or burying their heads in the sand.
If this assertion is not the case, perhaps Cllr Prochak can explain why I am unable to remember a Liberal Democrat councillor voting with the Conservative group against their own party line?
