Storing up more problems for us

Re your article (Gazette, December 4), I have to ask why do we need another food store in Rustington?

Take a look around at what we have already, and all within about two miles of each other – Asda at Ferring, Sainsbury’s in Rustington and Littlehampton, M&S in Worthing Road, Rustington, Iceland in Rustington and Littlehampton, the Tesco Express in Rustington, Waitrose in Littlehampton, Morrison’s at Wick, the large Tesco at Littlehampton and finally Lidl in Littlehampton. Eleven food shops, and now another is planned.

No wonder a large number of people are obese.

It would be better if we could have a gent’s outfitters – we also have some seven coffee shops.

All in all, I think the people involved ought to have a re think. Another pub? Yes, but in the village, not outside it.
