Summer fundraiser in Storrington

Pampering sessions and afternoon tea was enjoyed by Storrington residents in a pretty summer garden on a beautiful sunny afternoon on June 25 .

Katie provided the pampering with her wide range of Aloe Vera skincare products for people to try and several ladies took advantage of the mini-makeovers on offer.

A wide selection of plants were on sale and the plant tombola proved as popular as ever. The Macmillan ladies were on hand selling home-made cakes, jams and marmalades and delicious cream teas were served as people chatted under the shade of the trees and umbrellas.

A very pleasant way to spend a summer’s afternoon raising a wonderful more than £700 for Macmillan for local people affected by cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone for their very generous support. Together we really can make a difference.
