Left-over merchandise, including soft toys, mini-balls and drawstring bags, were presented to Simon Strange, Secondary Team Leader after the store raised £8,500 in the campaign in March.

The donation comes after the school recently opened their new multiuse games area.

Sainsbury’s Horsham store manager Derek Boarer said: “We wanted to donate our remaining stock to a good cause and when we heard about the school’s new multiuse games area, we thought it was a great way to provide a sporting donation to celebrate their fantastic new facility.

“We’re looking forward to working with more schools and groups throughout the year”.
