Support Eastbourne’s independant cafes and shops

I agree with Don Foster (Herald letters July 10 click here to read) about Costa Coffee taking over the old ticket office at Eastbourne Railway Station.

The is owned by Network Rail but under franchise to Southern Rail whose parent company is GTR (Govia Thameslink Railway).

He would have to write to Southern to find out what their policy is regarding letting of space within the station.

But I would happily sign a petition because support should be given to independent retailers not big conglomerates.
