Teachers and nurses will be hit

Tax cuts fall on those least able to increase their income.

They are working and have organised their lives to manage on the income they earn topped up by tax credits.

Suddenly these are to be removed.

I am thinking of nurses, teachers and others on incomes in the £20,000 - £30,000 with young children.

George Osborne claims that this cut will be balanced by the increase in tax allowances but this does not do so.

Do we really want the teachers in our schools, the nurses in our hospitals to be desperately worrying about paying bills when teaching our children or caring for our loved ones?
