I READ the recent letter in your paper praising the wonderfully colourful and strong polyanthus planted in the market square of Battle by the Rainbows.
It is brilliant and each year gets better and better - well done! I am sure many tourists and locals enjoy these displays.
I would also like to put into print how lovely all the daffodils and plants around Battle have looked this year - again Beautiful Battle your displays get better and better and what a lovely idea - I realise first hand how much work goes into the growing, designing, planting and watering the displays each year and spring has looked great - look forward to summer displays and also the scarecrows! - the town is so greatly enhanced by all these plans and effort made.
