Thank you, Eastbourne fundraisers

Through your newspaper, could I say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past few months.

This has been an extremely challenging and difficult year for many local businesses, and equally difficult for many local and national charities.

During this period, we have had great support from so many people including the lovely Juliet Mead at the Eastbourne Herald, in helping us to promote our various charity events.

Over the past four months, we have held three golf charity fundraising days, with more than 200 different people and more than 40 local businesses taking part – helping us raise nearly £10,000 for local charities and individuals.

I’d like to say a special thank you to Bob Bremer, chairman of Sussex Cars (get well soon Bob), everyone at BM Hepburn, Steve Visick of Visick Cars, everyone at Plan Ahead, Willingdon Golf Club, Ben Saber at Jesters Sports Bar, Madeira, Ansvar Insurance, M&S, and Nicola at Beau-K Flowers. The list just goes on – but finally thank you to Eastbourne Mayor Steve Wallis, and Eastbourne and Willingdon MP Caroline Ansell, for their continued support.
