As the Green Party candidate at the recent by-election for Darwell Ward of Rother District Council, I would like to thank through your newspaper all those who voted for me and all those who helped with my campaign.
Membership of the Green Party continues to surge.
With Caroline Lucas getting an increased majority in Brighton and the Greens gaining three seats on Lewes District Council for the first time ever, no-one should be in any doubt that the Greens are a growing political force in the
South-East.
The Greens’ policies continue to be very popular on the doorstep: of the five parties that stood in the parliamentary constituency of Bexhill and Battle, the Green Party is the only one to be entirely opposed to fracking.
