Thanks for generosity

THE committee and members of the Bexhill branch of the Royal Naval Association would like to enter a letter of thanks to the managers and staff of Tesco, Ravenside, Sainsbury's, Buckhurst Place, and the Co-Op Food Store, Little Common, and their customers for the wonderful response to our charity collections this year.

Also thanks to those who have made donations, we send a big thank you from all members of the branch.

Our grand total for the year, including raffles, donations and collections at the stores, was £1,326. This money has been allocated to the following charities:

• Royal Naval Benevolent Trust - £750

• WRNS Benevolent Trust - £100

• Help for Heroes - £225

• SSAFA Forces Help Hastings and Rother Division - £50

• TS Hastings SCC - £200

If there is anyone who has served or is serving in the Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, WRNS, Royal Marines, QARNNS, Merchant Navy or just have an interest in seafaring matters, please come and join us at our monthly meetings, which are held at Egerton Park Bowls Club on the fourth Monday on each month.
