Thanks to all my family, friends, colleagues and contacts for their good wishes and kind thoughts as I stepped down from being editor of the Littlehampton Gazette after more than 17 years.
A special thank-you to Tom, Fran, Becquie and Brian for their friendship and support at the Littlehampton office and to colleagues in editorial, photographic, advertising and distribution at Worthing.
Finally, a big thank-you to Jane Wood of the East Beach Café for the lovely farewell party, such a kind and generous gesture, and for the warm welcome afterwards at the Steam Packet.
