Thanks to helpers

ON MY 82-year-old mother’s (Mary Robinson) behalf, I would like to thank all those who came to her aid when a car collided into her late Friday afternoon between the Littlehampton fire station and the library.

Special thanks to our wonderful firefighters who held an umbrella over her as it was pouring with rain, put blankets around her as she was very cold, kept talking to keep her awake whilst awaiting the ambulance, due to her bad head injury, and also contacted me promptly to come at once.

I would also like to thank the paramedics, police and the excellent staff at Worthing Hospital’s A and E department, too.

Thankfully, she is now recovering from the trauma.
