Winning team ‘International Rescue’ beat off tough competition from 31 teams in what is now a popular annual charity event at the Holbrook Club in Horsham.

Autumn has been a busy time for ARK with more people through the door but also more donations and harvest gifts from local playgroups, schools and churches.

Lisa Burrell of ARK said: “The quiz night is a wonderful night of fun for everyone and the ARK family share that joy thanks to the wonderful fundraising efforts of everyone involved.

“We have also been greatly blessed by the many generous harvest donations from local groups who continue to be very supportive. The great news is that our store cupboards are currently full which is vital when we are giving out 30-40 food parcels every week as well as feeding 25-30 people with a hot meal twice a week.

“As ever, people’s generosity has been overwhelming. I cannot thank you enough, it means so much to the ARK family.”

ARK would like to thank quizmaster Doug Brown and the Holbrook Club for hosting the evening and Billingshurst URC and Horsham Rotary for sponsoring the event.
