Theft a thorny topic
ON Wednesday night, June 20, some low-life thief stole two rose bushes from our front garden.
The bushes had been given to me for a special anniversary and birthday by a very dear friend, aged 101.
I was so upset I decided to put a note addressed to the thief in our front garden.

Hide AdA young lady had found one of the bushes, which was in a sorry state, and she returned it to me, so I have put it back in place, having applied a little TLC, so, fingers crossed.
I also received a lovely card from another lady who walks past our cottage – thank you both for your kindness.
I have always known there is more kindness in the world, than badness.
