This store is just what we need
I WAS delighted to read that, at last, Waitrose is to open in town.
I wrote in some time ago before Sainbury’s opened here that what was needed was not another Sainsbury’s or Tesco, but a quality supermarket such as Waitrose. Several readers replied that Littlehampton was a town that could not afford such quality but, at last, common sense has prevailed and all tastes will be catered for.
I, for one, will support Waitrose from the word “Go” and I am sure that there will be a good proportion of the town’s population that will do likewise.
