Town show was real humdinger...

ALTHOUGH I have lived in Littlehampton for some years, I made my first visit to our town show, last week.

What a fantastic event it was – a huge field humming with activity, enthusiasm and happiness in every corner.

The organisation must have been immense and a huge vote of thanks must go to all the organisers, exhibitors and to everyone who worked tirelessly to make the show a success.

It was a wonderful sight to see so many of our local organisations joining together under one roof, filling us all with enthusiasm, despite the weather.

The tent containing the exhibits was a staggering sight, beautifully and thoughtfully arranged, making it a real pleasure to see the skills of so many people.

There was activity all over the field, making the day one for all the family to enjoy.

An event such as this brings together the people of Littlehampton and is an opportunity for us to share in the many positive things that are happening in our town.

I hope the Town Show will continue for many years. This is one of the important events in our calendar.
