Town’s destruction?

The innocent letter from Mott MacDonald is identical to ones I received in Worthing and before that Brighton.

Unless people overwhelmingly reject the call for a parking review, the following will happen:

1. You will be forced to pay to park outside your own house.

2. Private parking and clamping companies will enforce draconian parking rules.

3. Private parking wardens will extort thousands of pounds from local people.

4. Town centre shops will close, as there will be no free parking.

5. Car parks will be taken over by private companies and parking costs will reach hugely high figures.

6. Out-of-town supermarkets will be the only place you can shop.

It is time to choose.
