I fully agree that if all the bars, openers and divisions are in the original position, so that it looks the same as previously from across the road, then I have no problem with uPVC. It is today’s material and needs vastly less maintenance, decorating, etc.

I have been in estate agency for many years and do not remember anyone refusing a property because of the windows.

With all the proposed cuts across Arun, including facilities for vulnerable people, the proposed closure of the Tamarisk Centre for the older generation and the Windmill Entertainment Centre, in case we should wish to enjoy ourselves, rest assured that the “window police department” will remain intact, funded to hunt down, pursue and prosecute all those naughty people with the wrong windows.
