Voters in dark

In case this appears to be in some way biased, it must be asked, if such important issues are to be voted on, would it not be common sense to make sure all the people knew what they were voting for?
Many people have said: “We did not know what their plans were, and what we were being asked to vote on.” So, apart from the voters who were not interested, some claimed to know nothing of the neighbourhood plan or Arun District Council’s local plan. A simple explanation through the letterbox would have told them and, to save money, it could have been printed on the same piece of paper.
