Walk of witness

On Good Friday, the annual Littlehampton Churches Walk of Witness took place amongst the market stalls in the high street, and people from all of our Littlehampton churches re-enacted scenes from Jesus’ journey to the cross.

I would like to thank all who played a role, especially Rev Andy Lowe of the United Church. The event was not entirely problem-free.

At the very last minute we had to find someone to play the role of Judas and to play the drum. Many thanks to Joe from Portslade who kindly agreed to do both.

What a star! Our P.A system packed up, and the soldiers lifted it, but our wonderful actors just kept going.

It was a great and thought-provoking way to begin the Easter weekend, reminding us all that Easter is about Jesus and not just eggs, bunnies and buns. My thanks to all who made it possible.
