We lack leadership over a viable plan for A27

They don’t seem to understand, Worthing needs a relief route, which isn’t in the Government’s options.

What Worthing and Lancing need is our MPs to step up and lead for their electorate.

We also need our business community to realise it needs to be in the campaign for a relief route.

Tinkering with the A27 ‘in’ Worthing will not help locals, people getting to work, deliveries or anything else in Worthing. Why? Because if you favour the ‘through’ traffic at the junctions, it must disadvantage the local traffic of Worthing, Sompting and Lancing.

We need our MPs to stop sitting waiting for the bad solutions being looked at and get on working for a solution that will help Worthing, Sompting and Lancing.

Represent us NOW please MPs, stop sitting back waiting for rubbish options, hiding behind spurious excuses.

We don’t want the expressway on the Government’s web site.

Get Highways England looking at the A280, A24, A283 which need work already and will be used if any works start.

Spend money once to achieve a useful improvement with strategic sense. Leadership please MPs, you are the governing party, get a proper solution please.
