Finding all-day childcare can be hard; you want to leave your children with trusted carers but without it costing the earth. An Ofsted registered all-day holiday club is the ideal solution and there are three near you; Billingshurst Leisure Centre, Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre and Steyning Leisure Centre all run day camps for children aged four to 12 years. Activities include themed days, water fights, treasure hunts, trampolining and bouncy castle, with different activities being showcased daily. For those of you who are pushed for time in the mornings, Broadbridge Heath can also provide a hot or cold lunch for a small additional fee. All the clubs run in conjunction with Ofsted regulations and have inspections like any other Ofsted registered facility meaning peace of mind for parents.

If shorter sessions are what you’re looking for, each centre provides these too. All centres have a variety of sports based and creative activities, including Chelsea FC Foundation Soccer School at Broadbridge Heath. If sport isn’t really what your child enjoys, The Pavilions in the Park are running a drama skills workshop, in addition to Pirate and Wild West themed activities. These sessions average at around 2 hours in length, the perfect time to gossip with friends over a coffee.

Rainy days need not deter you from venturing outside the house. The Pavilions in the Park has a Jungle Adventure soft play area for children aged two to 11 years. The children must be wearing socks and sessions last an hour, giving them to perfect opportunity to let off some steam. Failing that, swimming is always a winning activity for families. The Pavilions In The Park, Steyning and Billingshurst run splash sessions with giant floats and balls throughout the week. For more adventurous children, The Pavilions and Steyning both have giant inflatable assault courses for over eights.

Whatever the weather, whatever your child enjoys and whatever time you need, your local Places for People leisure centre could be your new best friend this summer holidays. For more information, go to www.placesforpeopleleisure.org and check out your local centre.
