We're on a road to nowhere...

LAST year, I wrote about problems with the poor design of the A259 cycle path west of Littlehampton.

A few weeks ago I saw workmen starting on what I thought was making the path from the bridge to the roundabout at Tesco into a good, useable state.

Maybe at last, I thought, the authority is using the money that Tesco gave for this purpose – but no!

They did indeed put a path down that goes to nowhere and comes from nowhere and serves no useful purpose, other than the people who view the cars offered for sale there in the private gateway.

How can the "brains" at the authorities say they have no money for road safety, yet, at a moment's notice can conjure up some money for a useless path that serves no one any purpose, other than the guy who is selling his cars?

He must be quite pleased that someone is making viewing of his cars better.
