What a Town Show!
WHAT a Town Show, with superb September weather, the magnificent and numerous horticultural entries, the splendid crafts contributions of all sorts, vegetables, entries especially from the children and young people, flower arranging, embroidery, wood craft, painting and many others.
The participation of so many local organisations enabled visitors to communicate on an informal basis, and was encouraged by the refreshments provided by the Scouts and Brownies, the Rotary Club and Lions’ Club.
There was also an excellent play area for the children and the music on the stage may have been a little loud, sometimes, for we oldies, but that’s all part of modern life.
