What is your solution to crisis?

My last letter ended by asking what was the EU/Lib-Dems’ proposal to defeating ISIL and ending the refugee crisis.

Needless to say they remain silent!

Meanwhile Cllr Prochak insists Rother acts to takes in today’s refugees... but what of tomorrow’s, and the week after?

Now the Greens have jumped on the band-waggon with their anti-government rhetoric (2/10/15), but neither party offers a solution.

Charity is simple human kindness among civilised societies.

Indeed, some of the most hospitable people you’ll meet are the Kurds, the Bedouin tribesmen of Arabia and the marsh Arabs of Iraq (Mohammedans, though often different sects) but, sadly, the Middle East has forever been riven through tribal conflict, religious fanaticism, Ottoman or western-Christian interference.

People hate being ruled by foreign powers, so Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan can only be restored to sovereignty by their own people.

To that end, bona fide refugees are best served and protected in those UN refugee camps in and around Jordan, Syria and The Lebanon.

They are the ones who deserve the greatest humanitarian help, so it is somewhat ironic that Britain’s socialist political parties demand we give priority to those rich migrants who have bought EU-freedom through capitalist traffickers!

Charity begins at home and while I applaud those showing charity through their spare rooms, why are there suddenly so many vacant bedrooms, rectories and a four-bedroom Lambeth Palace Cottage?

For years religious and political campaigners have blamed governments for Britain’s thousands of silent homeless – especially ex-servicemen.

Why haven’t they been offered these vacant rooms?

Are they less deserving than those who now demand EU sanctuary – one rapidly being closed off to them?

Battles can only be won by feet on the ground, through which wars are temporarily won.

So I ask again, what is the EU/Lib-Dem/Green solution to ending these crises? Hark! I hear silence!
