Why so much flak?
WHY is Jackie Bialeska receiving so much criticism from some Bexhill residents? There are not many of us who are prepared to take the time and trouble to check up on what our councillors are doing in our name, and the seafront project is one area where she has been instrumental in seeking out 'hidden' agendas and bringing them to wider attention.
We need people like Jackie to try to galvanise other Bexhill residents to make their views felt when our council is spending money on our behalf - as she so rightly says there is much to like on the seafront - but not those useless shelters!
I shall soon be leaving Bexhill after 40 years here and I shall miss the seafront - and Jackie Bialeska. Long may she continue to look after the interests of Bexhill residents.
