Wildlife issue

Good to see that the Gazette has teamed up with Sussex Wildlife and running an article on how to protect wildlife.

How does your columnist Duncan Barkes fit in, with his suggestion about culling our seagulls?

Why does anybody live by the seaside if they don’t like seagulls? They are magnificent birds which make you realise that we are living on the coast. Sometimes noisy and even sometimes a nuisance, but they one of nature’s beautiful creatures.

The ‘spat’ in Crossbush is another strange thing. Why live in the countryside if you don’t expect to see horses and a riding school?
