Wonderful prize

I NOTICED the competition for tickets for John Lawson’s Circus in the Littlehampton Gazette and decided to fill in the form and send it in as requested.

It was a nice surprise to receive a telephone call to say that I had won six tickets and we attended the first show on Friday, May 20, held on The Green at Littlehampton.

We and the rest of the audience at this well-attended performance were treated to an amazing show. The performers were excellent and many daring acts were seen.

As the progamme said, we saw outstanding acts combining strength, agility, poise and danger. The clowns caused enough chaos for the many children to enjoy and everyone involved with the circus helped to make the afternoon a fantastic treat.

It is a long time since we last attended a circus and should anyone who did not attend get a future chance to see this show, they should go and enjoy it.
