Year’s crescendo

With just one more opportunity to hear us sing carols in Littlehampton in aid of St Barnabas House hospice, on Saturday, and our annual visit to Bailiffscourt to entertain guests on Christmas Eve, our year’s programme for 2013 draws to a close.

But how can we be sad, when we’ve raised another £7,500 this year from our concerts for local and national charities including M.E Research and TAG, Help for Heroes, Action for Deafness and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, to add to the £100,000-plus already donated to good causes?

However, without the wonderful encouragement of our regular supporters, our loyal patrons and sponsors who attend every concert, our fund-raising success would not be possible. So, we would like to say to all of you a very big thank-you from all of us in the Edwin James Festival Choir – and we take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy, healthy new year – your support is really appreciated. We also thank James Rushman, our musical director and Chris Allen, our artistic director, for their tireless efforts to ensure we live up to our motto ‘Music is Life’.

We look forward to singing for you in 2014 in another packed and varied programme.
