Lighten up please
Did I attend the same performance of The Full Monty as CE Nayler? ('˜Full Monty Shame', Letters).
My husband, our friends and myself described it as one the best evenings we’d had in a long time. And has CE Nayler actually seen the original British film version of the musical? It wasn’t an ‘economical’ arrangement – it is supposed to depict a grey and run-down area with high unemployment, and swearing is all part of the theme. I also understand that BROS have to pay a substantial amount for the rights to stage the show.
