Opportunity to build new toilets

I’m afraid I cannot appreciate the nigh on unanimous condemnation of the council’s decision to close the Harold Place toilets.

The state of them, and I am blaming the customers not the cleaners, is such as to encourage widespread constipation.

The building itself is an eyesore and its destruction would give an opportunity for more appealing toilets on a site nearer to the centre of town.

The obvious, and free solution is to open the toilets in the council offices to those who have long been paying for them.

They are adjacent to Priory Meadow and will encourage citizens to build a relationship with their local rulers.
