Preventing UK falling deeper into grasp of the EU

The UK did not vote just to leave the EU as we know it. We voted to prevent the UK from falling deeper into the grasp of the EU, past the point of no return.

Certain Issues of the Lisbon Treaty come into effect in 2020. The remainder will gradually occur over the following few years.

The Lisbon Treaty of 2007 laid the foundation for full Federalisation to begin.

If we stay in the EU, the Lisbon Treaty will require that we will:

Lose control of our fishing and oil and gas rights.

No longer enact our own laws but accept all laws and regulations set by the EU

Change our legal system to a system based on the Code Napoleon and be subject to the decisions of the European Court of Justice.

Reduce the function of the Houses of Parliament to making suggestions to the European Parliament and deciding minor local matters.

Eliminate our parliament’s control of any national or international issues. Our Parliament will have roughly the same powers as the state legislature in Oregon has over national and international policy decisions for the USA taken in Washington.

Pay ever increasing sums to a bureaucracy over which we have no control.

Eliminate our Queen’s constitutional powers reducing her to a monarch in name only.

Is it really what we want?
