Questioning MP television claim

During her appearance on the BBC's Sunday Politics this week, our local MP Amber Rudd informed us that the Albanians and Iraqis who are currently sailing up onto our beaches are nothing to do with the EU.

Well clearly they have not sailed here all the way from Albania and Iraq, but have travelled through all the borderless countries of the EU to get here.
