Recognise the kindness and honesty

My wife and myself visit Bognor Regis from Hayling Island once a month for two reasons: first we enjoy a very good meal at the China Royal in Queensway, and secondly we shop in the Polish shop next door at number 16 as they have some really tasty yoghurts that are cheaper and taste a lot better than what we buy in the local supermarket.

Tonight, on returning home, my wife noticed her purse was missing and she believed she left it in the Polish shop.

I telephoned the China Royal and someone went next door to ask, and sure enough it was there.

Returning to Bognor Regis for the second time, I picked up my wife’s purse that had been noticed by a customer, reported to the police and kept behind the counter.

The manager of the shop insisted my wife receive another two yoghurts free of charge which I gratefully accepted, and I thanked him for his honesty and kindness.

I’d be really grateful if you could publish this letter and recognise the kindness and honesty of the Polish shop at 16 The Queensway.
