Restaurant offers lovely place to relax

In 1990, I was having a meal there just after the restaurant opened and a reporter came and asked me what I thought of the restaurant and the meal. I cannot remember exactly what I said, but it was along the lines of the restaurant was lovely and the meal very good and that I could well recommend it.

Imagine my surprise when it was broadcast on the radio and a friend said she heard me.

I have had many lovely meals there, more now as when my hearing aid goes wrong I have a long walk to take it to be mended, so I have a coffee and later a meal, by which time my aid has been repaired and I can once again face the long walk back home. There are no buses near where I live and I gave up driving six years ago.
