Seeking shop's history
MY WIFE and I have recently taken over The Chocolate Box store in Felpham Village and have been trying to locate some old photographs of the shop front or, even better, pictures of its original interior.
We have spoken with our customers and the parish council, but have unfortunately drawn a blank. Our customers have informed us it was originally across the road where Howell Jones Jewellers now reside and originally only sold chocolate products and was very dark inside.
The shop then moved across the road to the address where it has stayed, from, we believe, the 1940s.
If any of your readers could help us with a few more details or pictures, we would love to hear from them.
