Should they clear this up first?
KEITH Mercer, leader of Worthing Borough Council, justifiably praised the quick response of agencies involved in the beach clean up.
Those involved have done a great job.
What a pity, though, that the beach scene remains spoiled by the eyesore of fishermen's debris.
So come on Mr Mercer, isn't it time some influence is brought to bear on Worthing's fishermen to play their part in the beach tidy up and get rid of unsightly lockers fallen into disrepair and all the other clutter that has lain unused for years?
