View spoilt the day

MY WIFE and I, on Sunday, (Mothers' Day), took a walk down to Fishbourne Nature Reserve from our home at Waterfield Gardens in Chichester.

En-route, we were horrified to see on display, eight or more identical ‘To Let’ signs by Adams Estate Agents, outside a singular complex of properties within the A27 ringroad and on a national cycle way, footpath and a stone’s throw from Fishbourne Roman Palace.

When I visited Adams’ website I notice it promotes a quintessentially English view of rural scenes and tranquillity.

Does this not fly in the face of advertising standards or at the very least challenge the views Cicestrians regarding the aesthetic of the city?
