We are here to help the young

Following recent changes to the benefit system, many young people are experiencing difficulties applying for and understanding ESA, Personal Independence Payments and a number of other benefits.

Staff at XTRAX Young People’s Centre are on hand to assist with identifying what 16 to 24-year-olds and their families are entitled to and helping them to apply for those that are most suitable for their needs.

In addition, they can assist with appeals against decisions and provide ongoing support with a wide range of issues affecting young people, including housing, sexual and mental health as well as a drop in centre for socialising and affordable food and drinks.

The centre opening hours are 2pm-7 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and is located at 23 Priory Street Hastings, TN34 1EA.

Alternatively, please call 01424 722524 and ask to speak to Ian or Jo.

Many vulnerable young people in the town seem to be affected at the moment and we are here to help.
