What about it, Monters?

WITH the excitment building in town as the countdown to the 1st Worthing Birdman Rally moves ever closer, I have a challenge to put to the journalists of the Worthing Herald.

What better way to capture the full atmosphere of this historic moment for the borough than to have a few of you reporters actually entering and giving a first- hand report?

Who better to step foward and lead this momentous charge for glory than everbody's favourite columnist '“ Monty Street.

I sure good old Monty can swiftly knock up a flying machine with his collection of empty London Pride cans (enough for a jumbo jet!).

For extra bravado, may I suggest that Monty also waits until the tide has gone out. That will really make an impact.

In fact I think Monty could make front page news in his own paper. I can see the headline now: "The Ego Has Landed!" Chocks away.
