What would we do without NHS?

On January 9 at approximately 9am I was walking my dog in Hoads Wood Road when we were attacked by two other dogs.

In the ensuing dog fight I was knocked down, banging my head on the kerb, which resulted in me being dazed and lying in the water-filled gutter.

Several people came to my aid, including a man who I think was a taxi driver.

I would like to thank everyone who helped me – including the wonderful paramedics and A&E staff at the Conquest Hospital.
