What's happened to pharmacies?

My prescription was issued on November 6. It usually takes six to 10 days for my prescription to arrive which is unacceptable.

I visited the pharmacy on November 15 to be told the supplier has let them down and they cannot supply my medication and I need to re-visit the surgery. My health is being put at risk with these long delays and terrible withdrawal symptoms, not to mention the stress of having to fight to get my medication every month. Just can’t understand why the system seems to have collapsed.
