Where are bobbies?
WHY are the traders in the arcade surprised their shops have been burgled when you do not see any police patrols in the centre of town during the day, which then makes one sceptical that there are any patrols during the night.
The lack of noticeable police in our town centre and the surrounding areas is disgraceful; no wonder there is so much crime reported weekly in the Observer. Let’s get back to the constable on the beat carrying out regular patrols, not some community support officer cycling around on the off-chance he or she may see something untoward.
Criminals know there is a lack of police on our streets thus the apparent increase in crime in Bognor which in the not-too-distant future will be renamed Burglar Regis.
