Where's our cinema?

I AM VERY disappointed The Guide contains very little news of entertainment in Bognor Regis.

The last two copies contained just one report of entertainment in Bognor, while Brighton, Southsea, Worthing, Guildford, Arundel and especially Chichester, received many write-ups.

I think I am correct when I say the Picturedrome Cinema in Bognor, with its very exciting programme of live showing of leading opera, ballet, drama and orchestral concerts from London and Berlin has never been reviewed by Phil Hewitt.

Is there any special reason for that?

He never reviews the films either, even though they are often shown at the Picturedrome before the Chichester Cineworld, as was War Horse, and, as it is only £2.50 to see the films at the Picturedrome,

I would think it would be advantageous for the people of Bognor to be told about it.

After all the people of Bognor Regis are so fond of the Picturedrome Cinema that they, through the Bognor Regis Town Council, have bought it.

Yes! The Picturedrome is the people’s cinema and that is why we do not want the multiplex cinema that is being threatened.

Anyway Mr Hewitt, get someone to show you the way to Bognor Regis and visit and review some of the wonderful shows that take place at the Picturedrome.
