Windmills on my mind

THERE are reports in some local papers about the possibility of a large wind farm being planned for a site 12 miles off the Brighton shore.

If, as reports have it, the generators are 183 metres high, they will be easily visible from the shoreline. At a distance of 12 miles, anything over about 16 metres high can be seen.

Should the project come into being, let us not think that at 12 miles from the shore they will be hidden from view.
