Organisers say fete was the best ever
A FETE on Brede Recreation Ground was the best ever say local firemen who organise it every year.
The event, last month, raised £2,100 in the space of a few hours. The money will go to help the Firefighter’s Charity and firemen, from the Broad Oak Station are also planning on making a donation to the Kipling Ward at the Conquest Hospital.
Firefighter Chris Sands said: “It really was our best ever fete and we would like to thank all those who supported us and made it possible.”
